Works in the historic centre of Pilsen, in the Czech Republic

After 13 months of works, Eurovia CS, in a joint venture with Berger Bohemia, has completed two operations in the historic centre of the city of Pilsen, a 2015 European Capital of Culture.

The project concerned an area where the city authorities want to give priority to public transport and improve traffic safety in the vicinity of the tramlines. The first operation involved a complete renovation of the tram tracks and the adjacent roadways and pavements (i.e. 8,400 sq. metres), the rehabilitation of the water supply system, and laying out parking areas and green spaces. The second operation notably involved repairing the water main and the sewerage system.
