1 February 2015 - Projects update and handover - France

Dumez Méditerranée (leader), Les Travaux du Midi and GTM Sud, all VINCI Construction France subsidiaries, have begun building the La Marseillaise tower, one of the three high-rise buildings making up the Quais d’Arencq development in Marseille (south of France). Designed by Jean Nouvel, this tower forms part of the Euroméditerranée project, the biggest urban development scheme in Europe, launched 20 years ago by the French government. The 135 m-tall La Marseillaise building will provide 35,000 sq. metres of office space over 31 levels – enough to accommodate nearly 2,500 workplaces. Handover is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018, after a little over three years of works.
