Wall enclosing second Yamal storage tank now complete

In the Ob estuary, some 400 km inside the Arctic Circle, teams from Entrepose Projets (VINCI Construction) and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are working on the construction of four LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage tanks, each with a capacity of 160,000 cu. metres, on behalf of the Yamal LNG consortium (Novatek, Total and CNPC). The concrete wall enclosing the second tank (height: over 40 m; diameter: 78.60 m) was completed in early October, as work began in preparation for the installation of the roofs of the first two tanks.
