Two new contracts for Singapore metro

On the new metro line – the Thomson Line – Bachy Soletanche Singapore, in collabo­ration with Soletanche Bachy Grands Projets and CSM Bessac (all Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction subsidiaries) and in a joint venture with Japanese company Penta Ocean, has won the contract to build the Orchard Station and its associated tunnels. On the same line, Bachy Soletanche Singapore, in association with Soletanche Bachy Grands Projets, has also secured the construction contract for the Gardens on the Bay Station and associated tunnels. In a joint venture with Nishimatsu Construction, the company is in addition charged with supplying the diaphragm walls, bored piles and a vast ground improvement campaign in the Marina Bay area.
