23 December 2014 - New contracts - France

On 15 October 2014, Campenon Bernard Nucléaire (VINCI Construction France) and Nuvia Structure (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) signed a contract with EDF for the construction of the two buildings which will house the back-up diesel generators at the Saint-Laurent-des-Eaux nuclear power station site in central France. Such generators can produce the 6 MW needed as an emergency power supply for the nuclear reactors and will ultimately equip all French reactors. The works are due to start in February 2015 and will be implemented in collaboration with GTM Normandie Centre (VINCI Construction France).
