The millionth square metre of resurfacing in Hounslow

Within the framework of the highways upkeep and maintenance contract in the London Borough of Hounslow (UK), the millionth square metre of road/pavement surfacing was laid on 3 March 2015 by Hounslow Highways, a company composed of VINCI Concessions, a shareholder in the concession-holding company, and British Eurovia subsidiary Ringway. The works entrusted to Hounslow Highways include resurfacing and improving 415 km of roads and 735 km of footpaths, replacing 16,000 of the borough’s street lights with brighter, more environmentally friendly LED lights and generally improving the area’s streets.
