This Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August 2019, VINCI and Paris FC held the fourth VINCI Cup, an international football tournament for under-15 (U15) players, in Meudon near Paris, under a partnership that dates back to April 2015.

This year’s tournament brought together 12 teams from professional clubs including Paris FC, Portugal’s FC Porto – the winner –, Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique de Marseille and, for the first time, Italy’s Juventus.

For some of the almost 250 players who took part, this was their first 11-a-side international competition on a full-sized pitch. They came from four countries (France, Italy, Japan and Portugal) and had an opportunity to shine for the scouts there to find new talent, while honing their skills for the top flight.

Over and beyond the strictly sport-related aspects, this competition is aimed at promoting values such as openness, fair play and equal opportunity, which VINCI and Paris FC alike hold.
