Technical works packages for the Cité Musicale

As part of the construction of the Cité Musicale on the Île Seguin, an island in the Seine in Boulogne-Billancourt, by Paris, Cegelec Tertiaire IdF Grands Projets has been awarded the heating-ventilation-air conditioning (HVAC) works package, and Saga Grands Projets Immobiliers the plumbing package (both are VINCI Energies France business units). Soletanche Bachy Pieux (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) will also be involved on this project, creating 695 piles of up to some 30 metres in depth.
The works started in early July; handover of this music complex (36,500 sq. metres) is scheduled for 2016. Total value of the works packages: €18m.
