Stays for the Rama III-Dao Khanong Bridge in Bangkok

Freyssinet (VINCI Construction) is participating in the construction of the Rama III-Dao Khanong Bridge in Thailand. This new cable-stayed structure boasts two H-shaped pylons, a 450 m-long main span, and 152 stays, the longest measuring 233.7 m.

Freyssinet Thailand and Freyssinet Grands Projets have designed, supplied and installed the entire system of stays, and carried out watertightness and fatigue tests on full-scale models. In order to optimise the future maintenance of the bridge, the client has asked Sixense Group (VINCI Construction) to procure the equipment needed to monitor the state of health of the infrastructure. The bridge is scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2023.
