Site preparation for the extension of a development zone

Dumez GTM Calédonie and Jean Lefebvre Pacifique (VINCI Construction Dom-Tom subsidiaries), in a joint venture with SAS Keteveta and Citeos Nouvelle-Calédonie (VINCI Energies France), are currently carrying out site development works for an extension (surface area: 15 hectares) to the PANDA integrated development zone in Nouméa.

This project, aimed at relieving congestion in the industrial zone currently centred in the south of the agglomeration, involves 350,000 cu. metres of earthworks, 12,000 sq. metres of roadways, 8,300 m of water networks, 3 transformer substations and 25 km of ducting for electricity and telecoms networks. And the teams are paying particular attention to water management (anti-sediment barriers, settling ponds and basins) in order to protect the vegetation of the surrounding marshland. The works are scheduled for completion in October 2018.
