Renovating the assembly halls at the Volkswagen plant in Zwickau

As of 2021, the Zwickau plant will produce six electric car models for three Volkswagen Group brands. The various assembly halls have to be modified and adapted for this change of platform.

Volkswagen has awarded Actemium Asas (VINCI Energies Europe) the planning, procurement, assembly and installation of overhead conveyors (heavy and light) and supports for the transportation of car roofs, doors and complete vehicles, and the modification of all the ground-based platforms.

Launched in late 2018, the project will be ongoing throughout 2019.
