Renewal of the A8’s wearing course

Between 25 September and 13 October 2017, Eurovia’s Nice office undertook a resurfacing campaign on the A8 motorway (VINCI Autoroutes, Escota network), in both traffic directions, between the Saint-Isidore toll barrier and the Canta-Galet tunnel.

For the first time on this stretch of the motorway network, a mix incorporating 30% of recycled aggregate was used for the wearing course of one side of the Saint-Isidore toll barrier.

Incidentally, all those working on this night-time project were equipped with LED vests, making everyone visible in the dark and from a considerable distance and thus enhancing their safety.
