In the district of Denver (Colorado), the RTD (Regional Transportation District) FasTracks programme is a project to expand the transportation system, involving the construction of 200 km of new suburban train and metro lines, 30 km of bus rapid transport lines and 21,000 new parking spaces at stations and stops. Within the framework of this programme, Reinforced Earth Company (RECo) USA (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) has been selected for 10 different projects, concerning the design and supply of more than 130,000 sq. metres of Reinforced Earth® retaining structures. RECo has developed state-of-the-art engineering solutions to meet the various constraints of this project, notably the different architectural treatments and particular requirements relating to rights of way.
