New road in Moravia

The Mokre Lazce highway, the I/11, in the east of the country, was opened in mid-October 2015. This is the principal road in North Moravia, linking the region with Slovakia. Implemented by a consortium led by Eurovia CS, the project involved modifying the route of the existing road to increase its capacity, and the bypassing of three communes. Almost 10 km of roadway were created, as well as retaining walls, three interchanges and two bridges in concrete and steel.
