21 December 2015 - Events - France

The new interchange at Piolenc, in the south of France, was inaugurated on 21 December 2015 in the presence, notably, of Louis Driey, the town’s mayor, and Pierre Coppey, chairman of VINCI Autoroutes. The construction of the access road had been awarded to a consortium of regional firms notably comprising Valérian and Malet. This €10m project, totally financed by VINCI Autoroutes, means that business areas in the north of Orange as well as the Gard and Ardèche departments now enjoy better road connections. In late November 2015, VINCI Autoroutes invited children from the town of Piolenc to ‘green’ the interchange by planting conifers there.
