New interchange on A83 motorway

VINCI Autoroutes (VINCI Concessions) is creating a new interchange on the A83, 15 km to the south of Nantes (west of France). The works – earthworks, pavements, drainage, safety equipment and engineering structures – have been entrusted to a consortium of regional firms headed by Eurovia Atlantique.
Worth a total of €18.1m, the works will extend over a period of one and a half years, with the aim of opening the new infrastructure to traffic in early 2016. The seven-lane toll plaza is expected to initially have to handle 3,500 vehicles a day.
