New exhibition centre in Toulouse

Within the framework of the project to build the new exhibition centre in Toulouse (south-west France), the Eurovia Toulouse office is undertaking the earthworks on the site of the future building as well as the access infrastructure works.

The project is being implemented by a joint venture in which Eurovia has a 30% share. VINCI Construction Terrassement’s south-west office is participating as a subcontractor of this joint venture.

The Eurovia Toulouse office will supply the soil stripping, earthworks and lime treatment works, the deployment of unbound aggregates and mix and the installation of a geomembrane. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.

The construction of a new exhibition centre, on a huge area of wasteland near Blagnac, will notably boost business tourism in Toulouse. The size of the future centre (site: 210,000 sq. metres; exhibition hall: 70,000 sq. metres) will put Toulouse just behind Paris and Lyon in terms of its event-hosting capacity.
