1 October 2015 - Acquisitions - Russian Federation

In July 2015, VINCI completed its acquisition from Russian construction group Mostotrest of a 50% stake in UTS (United Toll Systems), the leader in Russia in toll system operation and maintenance and the collection of tolls. UTS notably manages the 408 km of the M4 motorway, in the west of the country. And on the M11 (Moscow – St Petersburg), UTS operates section 1 (43 km) of the motorway, where tolls will come into force in the last quarter of 2015, on behalf of NWCC (owned 50/50 by VINCI Concessions and Mostotrest), and provides the toll system maintenance and management on section 5 (74 km) on behalf of Mostotrest. In addition, following the signing in late 2014 of a partnership contract with stateowned company Avtodor, representing the Russian Federation, over this summer the concession company Two Capitals Highway LLC, owned by VINCI Concessions (40%) and the VTB Group (60%), finalised the financing and the construction contract for sections 7 and 8 of the M11 motorway. This 27-year public-private partnership (3 years of construction and 24 years of operation) covers the financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of 138 km of toll motorway originating at the St Petersburg ring road.
