As part of the northwards extension project on Line 12 of the Paris metro, in March 2014, Chantiers Modernes Construction (leader), in a consortium with Dodin Campenon Bernard, Botte Fondations and TPI (all VINCI Construction subsidiaries), secured the construction and fitting out works for the Aimé Césaire and Mairie d’Aubervilliers stations. Undertaken on behalf of the RATP, these works follow a first phase that involved boring a 3,640 m-long tunnel and creating the Front Populaire station and 5 access and emergency evacuation shafts. This first phase of works, carried out by a consortium including Chantiers Modernes Construction, Sogea TPI, GTM TP IDF and Campenon Bernard, was brought into service on 18 December 2012.
The works of the second phase will take 47 months. Value: €82.4m.
