Makeover for a street in Dresden

A consortium including Eurovia’s Dresden office has rehabilitated more than 1 km of the Schandauer Strasse in Dresden, an extremely busy road located in a densely-built and complex environment. An existing bridge was demolished, then rebuilt with a wider underpass. The works also involved renewing the principal water supply pipelines and numerous connections to the gas, electricity and telecommunications networks, and civil engineering works for traffic lights and urban lighting. Pavements and tram-stops were also specially adapted for persons of reduced mobility.
