Maintenance of an urban motorway

Carmacks (Eurovia) has won the contract for the Deerfoot Trail motorway in Calgary, in the province of Alberta.

This notably includes the works in connection with winter maintenance, and the upkeep and maintenance of the infrastructure (bridges, pavements, drainage network), the equipment (crash barriers, signage, lighting system) and the green spaces. Used by over 170,000 vehicles a day, this 46 km-long motorway forms part of the Canamex Corridor, a system of motorways and transport infrastructure linking Canada and Mexico.

The seven-year contract comes into effect on 1 August 2019 and provides for a possible three-year renewal.
