Introducing the UK’s first autonomous electric delivery vehicle

Kar-Go, an electric robot engineered by startup Academy of Robotics, can deliver up to 48 parcels per round, and lower financial and environmental costs in the process.

Its artificial intelligence system was trained in partnership with Eurovia UK, which provided access to the data from the cameras overseeing the road network that its teams operate and maintain.
In exchange, the vehicle could deliver small pieces of equipment from and to jobsites, and the data it collects can provide Eurovia UK with a more accurate picture of the condition of its roads. This November, Kar-Go completed its first delivery of medical supplies to a care home on the outskirts of London.
