1 October 2014 - Projects update and handover - France

Able to accommodate 1,500 students, the new international high school located on the Île de Nantes (west of France) opened for the start of the 2014/15 academic year. This positive-energy building was created by Sogea Atlantique (VINCI Construction France), in association with ETPO for the shell construction and finishing works and Caillaud Lamellé Collé (Arbonis/VINCI Construction France) for the timber structure. Completed in just 21 months, this 26,700 sq. metre project also benefited from the expertise of Botte Fondations (VINCI Construction France) for the special foundations, and of Cegelec Nantes Tertiaire, leader of a consortium of five VINCI Energies France business units* for the technical works packages: high- and low-voltage power installation, HVAC (heating-ventilation-air conditioning), plumbing, networks and fluids.
Total project value: €75m.
