Incremental launch of steel structure of Bratislava bridge

Late August 2015 saw teams from Eurovia CS incrementally launching and then welding the steel structure of the Old Bridge in Bratislava. The 76 m-long structure weighed 800 t, which meant a special support system had to be installed on the barge responsible for transporting it to the site. With this operation, a further milestone has been passed on the project to rebuild the Old Bridge, on which a Eurovia joint venture has been working since 2013.
