Inauguration of the Saint-Joseph wastewater treatment plant on Reunion Island
19 November 2015 - Events - France
In October, Sogea Réunion, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction Dom-Tom, handed over the wastewater treatment plant in the commune of Saint-Joseph, on Reunion Island.
Undertaken within a joint venture by Sogea Réunion and VINCI Environnement, notably, the works involved building a new plant for the physical and biological treatment of wastewater. The project also included the creation of the sea discharge structure as well as the total deodorisation of the equipment. Built for a population equivalent (p.e.) of 18,500, the plant’s capacity can be extended to a p.e. of 37,000, depending on future requirements.
