Inauguration of a major section of road in Poland

Eurovia Polska used some 81 km of pipes and cables for the renewal of the drainage and dry and wet networks in the course of the works on the DTS road.

The final section of the DTS (Drogowa-Trasa-Średnicowa) road, a major highway in the south of Poland – several stretches of which had already been built by Eurovia Polska – was inaugurated in March 2016. The company distinguished itself on this project by its road and construction works and, in particular, by the reconstruction of the underground infrastructure. To enable the road to pass through the town centre of Gliwice, for example, the Eurovia Polska teams had to move and re-lay the town’s urban heating pipes.
Contract value: €174m, of which €82m for Eurovia.
