Ground preparation for GED foundations

The Paris region planning and construction agency has appointed Soletanche Bachy France (VINCI Construction) to supply drilling works and filling injections into anteludian gypsum dissolution cavities, prior to the construction of the GED (Grand Equipement Documentaire) documentation centre located in the heart of the future Condorcet campus in Aubervilliers, by Paris. These works will involve 280 drilling operations – a total length of 11,500 m.

The volume of the cavities to be filled should be of the order of 4,500 cu. metres. Soletanche Bachy is due to complete these works in late September 2017.
