Extension of the Aquavallées STEP in south-east France

In December 2019, the Aquavallées wastewater treatment plant (STEP) in Bourg-d’Oisans was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished guests, among them Lionel Beffre, prefect of the Isère department, and Jean-Pierre Barbier, president of the department.

A joint venture composed of Sogea Rhône-Alpes and Campenon Bernard Régions, subsidiaries of VINCI Construction France, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, AIE and Gravier TP had carried out the works to both bring the STEP up to standards and extend it, relying throughout on BIM. The R3F® treatment process used here, developed by VINCI Construction, makes it possible to create STEPs that can deal with sudden changes in the pollutant load, are entirely closed, are more aesthetic and have a smaller footprint.
