Contracts for two expressways

Early November saw Eurovia win two contracts worth a total of a €120 million for the design-build of two expressways on behalf of Poland’s national roads and motorways authority. The first contract concerns the S3 expressway, near the border with the Czech Republic: a 19.73 km-long, 2x2-lane section as well as 12 crossings (viaducts and bridges). The works start in April 2016 and should take 30 months. The second contract involves building a 2x2-lane bypass round the town of Szczecinek, in the north-west of Poland. It is located on the route of the S11 expressway that will eventually link the north with the south of the country.
