CONTRACT RENEWAL at Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport

On 2 December 2014, the Syndicat Mixte (joint association) responsible for Clermont- Ferrand Auvergne Airport, composed of the Auvergne Regional Council, the urban community of Clermont and the General Council of the Puy-de-Dôme department, demonstrated its continuing confidence in VINCI Airports (VINCI Concessions) as regards the management of the airport at Clermont- Ferrand (central France). This 12-year contract, in the form of a delegation of authority to operate a public service, will come into force on 1st January 2015. It covers the operation of the airport, developing traffic, and the upkeep and maintenance of the airport (terminal, runways and equipment) and of its retail outlets. Operated by VINCI Airports since 1st January 2008, over the last two years the airport has achieved growth totalling almost 15%. The symbolic milestone of 400,000 passengers was crossed in late 2013.
