19 April 2017 - Projects update and handover - France

The foundation stone for the Saint-Gobain Tower in the La Défense business district, by Paris, was laid on 19 April by Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman & CEO of Saint-Gobain, Gabriele Galateri di Genola, Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali and Xavier Huillard, Chairman & CEO of VINCI.

Designed by architects Valode & Pistre, developed by VINCI Construction France's property development subsidiary ADIM Paris IDF and to be built by Bateg (VINCI Construction France), Saint-Gobain's new head office will benefit from VINCI's expertise in the field of BIM. The digital model was used as of the design stage of the building and will be used throughout the construction works.

This 165 m-high tower with its 44 levels will be organised in three parts: the levels of the main part will provide office space, a lower part will accommodate services, including the areas accessible to the public, and the meeting rooms will be located in the upper levels. Handover is scheduled for mid-2019.
