Cité solidaire in French Guiana

On 3 and 4 February 2014, during ceremonies staged in the town halls of Kourou, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni and Cayenne, in French Guiana, the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité, in the presence of the employee sponsors from Cegelec Space, Cegelec Guyane, Getelec Energies (VINCI Energies) and Nofrayane (VINCI Construction), presented a cheque for €72,500 to the ten associations that have won the call for Cité solidaire projects launched simultaneously in June 2013 in the priority neighbourhoods of these three towns. In 2013, Cité solidaire was also deployed in Toulouse and, for the first time outside France, in the outskirts of Mannheim, in Germany. In four years, the Cité solidaire programme has reached 14 localities and supported 91 projects sponsored by over a hundred VINCI employees, granting €1m of funding.
