1 February 2015 - Projects update and handover - France

In Arles (south of France), the VINCI Construction France joint venture (Dumez Méditerranée, Dumez Sud and GTM Sud) has just started work, for the Luma Foundation, on a structure designed by Frank Gehry, the architect of the Louis Vuitton Foundation. This building, 70 metres high including its base, will form the centrepiece of the 10-hectare Parc des Ateliers, an international cultural campus project located on the site of former SNCF railway workshops. Its 30,000 sq. metres will house exhibition rooms and workshops for artists, an art and research centre, restaurants, a library and conference rooms. VINCI Construction France is to supply the structural works for the building and all the architectural fitting out works. Completion is scheduled for 2018.
