A free medical remote consultation booth in a rest area of the VINCI Autoroutes network

At the request of the French Ministry of Transport, French start-up TESSAN has installed the very first medical remote consultation booth in the Saint Rambert d'Albon rest area on the A7 highway (France).

This booth can be accessed from both sides of the A7 highway via the pedestrian bridge, and allows road transport workers and customers using the highway to have a free videoconference consultation with a general practitioner.
The facility is equipped with 7 connected and remotely controlled medical devices that allow the doctor to easily detect fever, respiratory infection or acute fatigue, i.e. the main symptoms of Covid-19. In addition, hand sanitiser, wipes and disposable items are provided to comply with hygiene requirements and keep equipment clean and safe. The booth is also cleaned and disinfected several times a day.
