The OKKO Hotel in Grenoble has now been formally opened, in the presence of its chairman, Olivier Devys. VINCI Immobilier had handed over this four-star establishment on 25 September last. Located in the heart of Grenoble (south-east France), in the eco-neighbourhood of the Bonne integrated development zone, this 138-room hotel (4,600 sq. metres) was designed by Dumétier Design. The building has 70 sq. m of solar panels on a terrace, which cover 50% of the hotel’s hot water consumption. The double external and internal insulation of the façade, meanwhile, means heat loss can be reduced to a minimum, thus reducing energy use for heating and air conditioning purposes. Worth €6.4m (not including the internal fitting-out of the rooms), the works were carried out by Campenon Bernard Dauphiné Ardèche– Enbatra (VINCI Construction France) on a general contracting basis.
