A DIADEM for the CEA in the Southe of France

At the CEA’s Marcoule centre at Bagnolssur-sur-Cèze (south of France), Eurovia’s Nîmes office is participating in the construction of a DIADEM (irradiating or alpha-emitting waste from nuclear decommissioning) facility for the storage of containers of irradiating or alpha-emitting waste, most of it coming from CEA installations. The project involves creating the platforms and dry and wet networks for the worksite installations; the general earthworks and temporary worksite roadways; peripheral backfilling around the underground levels; and, finally, the creation of the permanent dry and wet networks and the definitive roadways.
