20,000 hours of integration work on the project to widen the A9
1 January 2014 - New contracts - France
On 9 December 2013, the French government, VINCI Autoroutes, and the Valérian-Malet-Socafl consortium in charge of the second phase of works between Perpignan Sud and Le Boulou signed a partnership agreement aimed at promoting the integration of unemployed people on the A9 motorway worksite. The parties committed themselves to providing at least 15,000 hours of work for unemployed people between now and the end of the works, in 2016 (though their desired objective is in fact 20,000 hours). 13 people, including four from deprived urban areas and 10 aged under 26, have already been hired.
