1,500 visitors at Czech Republic’s largest quarry

On 30 May 2015, as part of Geology Days in the Oder Valley, the Jakubčovice quarry, managed by Eurovia Kamenolomy (Eurovia CS), staged an open day to show visitors how it operates. A number of activities were also on offer, aimed in particular at teaching children about road safety. Some 1,500 people, including 180 children, attended this event.
