Pierre Coppey becomes Chairman & CEO of Arcour

The Board of Directors of Arcour, at its meeting on 22 May 2008, appointed Pierre Coppey as Chairman & CEO of Arcour, the company holding the concession for the A19 motorway. In this post he succeeds Bernard Godinot, who has been appointed Director of SOCALY.

Born in 1963, Pierre Coppey is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Strasbourg (1984), an alumnus of the Strasbourg School of Journalism, the holder of a Master's in Politics (Paris II) and an alumnus of the Post and Telecommunications school (ENSPTT 1986). In 1989 he was appointed head of Internal and Institutional Communications at the French Post Office, La Poste. He joined Campenon Bernard SGE in 1992 as head of Corporate Communications. He became head of Corporate Communications for the SGE Group in 1996, a function he combined, on joining the Executive Committee of VINCI in 2001, with being Vice-President, Human Resources and Synergies, before being appointed Executive Vice President of VINCI early in 2006. Pierre Coppey has been Chairman & CEO of Cofiroute since December 2007.
