HANDOVER Two geothermal wells in Villejuif

Cofor(Entrepose Contracting/VINCI Construction) has just completed a double contract (geothermal urban heating network) in the town of Villejuif, by Paris. Undertaken on behalf of the SEMHAC, the project will provide economical and ecological heating for the equivalent of 27,000 to 28,000 homes. This geothermal double contract draws hot water (64/65°C) from the Dogger reservoir. The works involved creating a production well (depth: 2,305 m) and an injection well (depth: 2,100 m).
