We are often present on campuses for forums, hands-on workshops, individual coaching and face-to-face discussions. Over and above meetings and exchanges, we are also keen to welcome you in our companies: through internship, apprenticeship, work-study or international volunteering contracts, which help young Europeans aged from 18 to 28 years enrich the first stages of their career by gaining international experience, for a period of 6 to 24 months. We have also designed a whole programme – Give Me Five – to promote employment for young people from underprivileged areas.

Fighting stereotypes to foster diversity
Because we want to encourage more young women to become engineers or technicians, we have been partnering with the non-profit Elles Bougent since 2018. Its goal is to facilitate meetings between our employees and young women at forums, site visits, fairs, tournaments, rallies, conferences and other events in universities and junior and senior secondary schools.
We also build close, long-term partnerships with universities and with management, engineering and vocational schools to cover staffing requirements in all the Group’s lines of work.
The partnership between VINCI and Fondation INSA
Our partnership with the INSA (Institut national des sciences appliquées) foundation dates back to 2019. Through it, we support students at its seven schools with 200 grants as well as mentoring. In 2021, we also started holding Le Jeudi de l’Éloquence, an eloquence contest, with Usbek & Rica, a French magazine and online community that explores the future of our society.
In 2024, the eight contenders will discuss AI. The goal is to fuel debate about a society-wide topic, so as to encourage youths to ask questions, share their views and hone their eloquence.
A digital event for IT profiles: Dig’IT Week by VINCI
The Group has set up Dig’IT Week by VINCI, a recruitment forum specifically for end-of-studies internships for information and digital technology students. This annual recruitment fair includes more than 100 vacancies for end-of-studies internships possibly leading to permanent positions in fields ranging from cybersecurity to artificial intelligence and on to data, change management, infrastructure, development and applications.

Under its partnership with the École nationale des ponts et chaussées, an engineering school, VINCI is working with class of 2026 students on two topics:
Partnership with the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris
VINCI has partnered with the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) since 2019, financing five study grants each year to cover accommodation costs for foreign students.
Group employees also work with the five students during the academic year, helping them fine-tune their career plans, lending advice, taking them on company tours and helping them find suitable internships.
Contributing to social cohesion involves large-scale initiatives as well as small gestures. The merit scholarships that VINCI provides for foreign students at the CIUP, along with the mentoring by its employees, are a perfect example of this.
Alongside these programmes, our employees are also involved in local mentoring programmes to tell students about their professional universe.
