Our missions
At the centre of the challenges facing today’s world and aware of the responsibility that it bears due to the nature of its business activities, VINCI is focused on its ambition of playing an active part in the energy and environmental transition of living spaces, infrastructure and mobility.
Quick access
Imagining sustainable mobility
VINCI designs, finances, builds and operates infrastructure and public amenities under public-private partnership arrangements. The divisions within its Concessions business develop solutions that optimise the performance of the entrusted infrastructures over the long term, while providing a high level of service to customers and end users.
VINCI is also pursuing a proactive strategy to decarbonise its transport infrastructure, particularly motorways and airports, as part of a long-term approach.
Accelerating the energy transition
The need to mass-produce decarbonised energy in response to the climate emergency is driving far-reaching changes to the way in which electricity is produced, transported and used.
Whether they are established energy sources such as nuclear power, booming renewable energies, or future energy sources such as green hydrogen, the Group's business lines are involved in every component and at every stage of the sustainable energy value chain. The Group’s energy business is also involved in the digital transition that goes hand in hand with the energy transition.
Building sustainable living environments
Tomorrow's cities and regions will need to be sustainable. As an infrastructure builder and operator, VINCI is accelerating the transformation of its businesses and scaling up its solutions to meet climate change challenges.
Incorporating low-carbon construction methods, recycling and reusing materials, strengthening structural resilience to anticipate the effects of climate change, promoting ecological restoration practices in the city, and preserving biodiversity across the infrastructures managed by the Group are just some of the pathways to building responsible living spaces.
