Foundations for a residential complex

In connection with the An Phu Apartment project in Ho Chi-Minh City, Bachy Soletanche Vietnam, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction), has won a contract for special foundations; value: $2.5m (€1.9m). The works include installing 30 barrettes and 109 piles bored to a maximum depth of 66 m. This is the first project on which BSV is using polymer muds as drilling fluids, the innovation that won the Grand Prize in the VINCI 2011 Innovation Awards Competition.
