Electrical equipment for conveyors

Materials-handling system manufacturer FAM has awarded BEA Fördertechnik (VINCI Energies International) a contract for the modernisation of the conveyor transportation installations at the Ekibastuz open-cast coal mine. The company is charged with supplying all electrical equipment there – including automation and supervision – for four new drive stations for inclined conveyor belts. These will be installed, one by one, over a period of 18 months.
Contract value: €5m.
