VINCI builds its internal network of researchers

By strengthening the understanding and the practice of research and doctorates in private companies, VINCI aims to raise awareness among its managers and HR teams in order to increase the recruitment of PhDs and consolidate an ecosystem in which researchers and operational employees collaborate more closely.

This network-building approach is designed to facilitate the circulation of knowledge, the identification of high‑impact research topics, and the integration of scientific results into the Group’s projects. It is also an opportunity to create connections among the Group’s researchers and to provide them with a community where they can exchange with peers.

By bringing PhD candidates, researchers, and HR teams closer together, VINCI reaffirms its ambition to make research a pillar of its innovation strategy. “Researchers, who often work on long‑term horizons, enable us to address major topics such as the sustainable development, digitalisation, and AI in our businesses,” explains Corinne Galichère, VINCI’s Director of HR Development.

PhD Day: kick‑off for the Group’s PhD candidate network

The first edition of PhD Day, held at the end of 2025, was part of this momentum: it brought together around thirty PhD from various Group business units and laid the foundations for a more connected internal scientific community. The event had a dual objective: to raise awareness about doctorate in companies schemes and to highlight the research conducted within the Group.

This event helped to structure the network of researchers at VINCI, foster synergies and innovation, and support scientific talent in their career development within VINCI.
