Team effort to repair sea defences

In Nice (south of France), on behalf of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, a consortium composed of TP Spada (Eurovia), Campenon Bernard TP Côte d’Azur (VINCI Construction France), SDI (CFE, VINCI Construction) and Garelli is carrying out maintenance operations on the structures protecting the airport platform from the sea. The works involve removing 47,000 t of rip-rap and then deploying 53,000 t of rip-rap from the land side and 7,000 t by sea, as well as the prefabrication, transportation and installation of 1,400 grooved concrete cubes of between 12 and 18 t.
