Special foundations for new Graville bridge

In Le Havre (Normandy), in order to ease congestion at the entry into the city in the Graville neighbourhood, the flyover crossing the railway lines will be replaced by a 290 m-long engineering structure to be built by a joint venture comprising GTM Normandie Centre (VINCI Construction France), leader, and Soletanche Bachy Pieux (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction). Soletanche Bachy Pieux, in charge of the special foundations, will install Refsol®-type piles beneath the access ramps, a fast, economical and ecological technique that limits any overconsumption of concrete.
The works are scheduled to start in May 2014. Total value: €7.4m.
