Reinforcing the Mât Bridge

In late September, on Reunion Island, Soletanche Bachy (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) handed over the platform needed for the carrying out of reinforcement works (creation of a diaphragm wall) on the bridge over the Mât River, rendered fragile by high waters in the river. It is on this platform (length: 70 m; width: 5.3 m) that the task of perforating the diaphragm wall has been under way since early October, using a small hydromill.
