Refurbishing a road in New Caledonia
Jean Lefebvre Pacifique (VINCI Construction International Networks) has finished refurbishing a 2 km-long section, near the commune of Yaté, of a link road between two roads accessing the south of the island.
Undertaken on behalf of the DEPS (the road authority for the South Province of New Caledonia), the works required the deployment of 2,200 tonnes of mix – an operation which, despitethe worksite’s distance from the asphalt plant, was completed in just two weeks.
