An intelligent transport system in Poland
Tychy EuroviaToday, the city of Tychy in Silesia, Poland is an industrial centre of automotive manufacturing — but tomorrow, it will be an urban centre with cutting-edge traffic management technology.
To implement this intelligent transport project, teams from Eurovia Polska will carry out all the necessary roadworks, including rebuilding the city’s 40 roundabouts.
They will facilitate the installation of measuring stations on streets to monitor the weather, pollution and noise, as well as dynamic parking and vehicle weighing systems, in order to optimise how everyone uses the traffic lanes. The work is scheduled for completion in October 2021.
